Argentine bass-baritone who has already established himself as one of the most internationally sought after opera singers, being invited to theaters such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Opéra national de Paris, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, performing roles such as Oroveso (Norma), Count Rodolfo (La Sonnambula), Sir Giorgio (I Puritani), Goffredo (Il Pirata), Colline (La Bohème), Timur (Turandot), Bonzo (Madama Butterfly), Escamillo (Carmen), Nourabad (Pearl Fishers), Don Giovanni, Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro), Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Prince de Bouillon (Adriana Lecouvreur), Ferrando (Il Trovatore), Monterone (Rigoletto), Frate (Don Carlo), Samuel (Un Ballo in Maschera), Ludovico (Otello), Roucher (Andrea Chénier), Verdi‘s Requiem, Symphony n. No. 8 by Malher, Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven, Stabat Mater by Rossini and Mozart‘s Requiem.

 

At only 21 years of age, he won the international singing competition Neue Stimmen 2007, and was immediately invited by Daniel Barenboim to perfect his opera studio. He was also the Argentine winner for the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2009 in Wales, and was a finalist at the Operalia 2011 in Moscow.

He was nominated as best young singer in the world at the International Opera Awards 2016 and revelation of the decade receiving the diploma of merit at the Konex Awards 2019.
