Luis López Navarro

General Management

Born in Malaga. Graduated in Singing with the highest qualification at the Conservatory of Malaga with Professor Alicia Molina. He officially begins his studies in 2007 with Professor Francisco Heredia at the C.P.M. Manuel Carra (Malaga). He has received lessons from Iñaki Fresán, Carlos Álvarez, Carlos Chausson, and Charles dos Santos. He is initiated in the field of baroque music thanks to Dr. Lynne Kurzeknabe.

He was awarded in the Muestra de Jóvenes Intérpretes de Marbella Crea 2014.

 

He has performed as soloist at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro Real, Teatro de la Zarzuela, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, Teatro Campoamor, Teatro de la Maestranza, Teatro Calderón, Teatro Cervantes, Teatro Villamarta, Teatro Colón, Teatre Principal de Maó, Gran Teatro de Córdoba, Sala María Cristina, Auditorio Edgar Neville, Catedral de la Encarnación, and Gran Teatro de Huelva.

 

Among the works, oratorio titles stand out, such as Requiem (G. Faurè), Requiem (KV 626, W. A. Mozart) Messe solennelle en l’honneur de Sainte-Cécile (Ch. Gounod) Messa di Gloria (G. Puccini), Magnificat (D. Buxtehude) Miserere (E. Ocón); opera and zarzuela roles such as Oroveso (Norma), Frère Laurent (Roméo et Juliette), Don Fernando (Fidelio), Tom (Un ballo in maschera), Angelotti (Tosca) il Commendatore, Masetto (Don Giovanni, W. A. Mozart), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro, W. A. Mozart); Padre Prior (La dolorosa, J. Serrano), Gran Sacerdote (La corte de faraón, V. Lleó); selected chamber works such as Winterreise (F. Schubert), Dichteriebe (R. Schumann), Songs of travel (R. Vaughan Williams), and varied works of J. S. Bach, G. F. Händel, W. A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven, F. Mendelssohn, J. Brahms, F. Liszt, R. Wagner, C. Debussy, G. Faurè, M. Ravel, J. Ibert, R. Quilter, X. Montsalvatge, F. Mompou, M. Falla, E. Halffter, C. Guastavino, among others.

 

Among the most outstanding conductors with whom he has worked are Nicola Luisotti, Evelino Pidò, Maurizio Benini, Mark Wigglesworth, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Michele Mariotti, Pedro Halffter, Miquel Ortega, Edmon Colomer, José Miguel Pérez-Sierra, Óliver Díaz and Alain Guingal.
