Born in Sabadell, he initiated his musical studies in piano and solfeggio in his hometown. His interest in lyrical singing came afterwards by the hand of his teacher Carlos Chausson. He received vocal technique lessons from Jaume Aragall, Eva Mei, Celso Albelo, Mariella Devia or Plácido Domingo. He has also received lessons in musical interpretation from Stanislav Angelov, Francisco Poyato, Roger Vignoles o Jocelyne Dienst-Bladin, among others. 

 

After obtaining a PhD in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he won the Mirna Lacambra competition to enter the Sabadell Opera School, where he performed with great success the role of Leporello in the opera Don Giovanni. Later he was selected by the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, where he completed his training.

 

He performed the roles of Figaro Le Nozze di Figaro, Dulcamara L’elisir d’amore, Colas Bastian und Bastienne, Marchese d’Obigny La Traviata, The Baritone The Four Notes Opera, Sprecher/Priester Die Zauberflöte, Sagrestano Tosca, Martino L’Occasione fa il Ladro, among others. In the field of Oratorio and Lied, he has recently had his debut at the inaugural concert of the Life Victoria Festival 2020, as a Life New Artist, and he has won the Bach-Fundació Salvat Scholarship 2020. Ha has sung under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, Mark Minkovsky, Susanna Mälki, Roberto Abbado, Plácido Domingo, among others.
