Anaïs Masllorens, mezzosoprano, last season has performed Manon de Massenet at the Gran Teatre del Liceu under the baton of Marc Minkowski and previously, at the same opera house, R. Strauss Ariadne auf Naxos and the World première’s L’enigma di Lea.
Highlights have included Moses und Aron at Teatro Real de Madrid, Rigoletto at Kursaal de San Sebastián, Hänsel und Gretel at Palau de la Música de Valencia, Cavalleria rusticana at the Auditori de St Cugat, La fille du régiment in Andorra, El rey que rabió at Teatre Principal de Valencia, and La Canterina at Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao.
Anaïs Masllorens was a member of Petit Liceu (Gran Teatre del Liceu) where she performed children’s operas La Cenerentola and Cosí «fun» tutte, and took part at the opera studio at Teatro Real performing L’enfant et les sortilèges. She has performed under the baton of J. Pons, L. Koenigs, E. García-Asensio, D. García, D. Puntos, E. Colomer, P. Mielgo, etc… Combines her passion for Opera with Lied and oratorio.
Born in Barcelona, is graduate in music and drama at the Institut del Teatre, where she received vocal training. After that was in Valencia where she worked with A. L. Chova. Has received master class from J. Aragall, M. Caballé, S. Radvanovsky, and K. Widmer.
