Born in Asturias, she studied piano at the Conservatorio Superior Eduardo Martínez Torner (Oviedo) and singing at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid. She has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions, including the Denise Duval at the Positively Poulenc Competition (New York). She has made her debut as Suor Angelica in the Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago, and next February she will do it as Elvira in Ernani at Ópera of Oviedo. She has recently sung the role of Angelica in the premiere opera by Luis Vázquez del Fresno, La Dama del Alba.
She has sung at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Valencia), Teatro Campoamor (Oviedo), Teatros del Canal (Madrid)… and makes her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona).
Within her intense concert activity, her collaboration with Dalton Baldwin at Princeton University (New Jersey), tour with the Torre del Lago Puccini Festival in Italy, and two tours in China and Korea stand out. She also frequently performs concerts with Aurelio Viribay focusing on lied, mélodie and Spanish concert song.
For Radio Clásica (RNE) she has recorded La Dame de Montecarlo with the pianist Jorge Robaina, and has collaborated with Joaquín Pixán in an album dedicated to María de Lejárraga.
